Back from Bali!
Wednesday, June 11, 2008
I'm back from BALI! (well technically, I was back yesterday)

I must say that it was pretty fun although it was a little rushed:) The Ritz Carlton was quite a beautiful place to stay in...we were greeted by really friendly staff who put garlands of frangipanis around our necks, the breakfast buffet had really delicious belgium waffles which i had every day for breakfast along with lots of maple syrup, invigorating homemade ice creams & sorbets for supper & one of the pools had a long, water slide! (the best i've seen in a hotel, it even beat the one at the HK disneyland hotel! I think I went on it a grand total of...... 50 times?! HEHE:) Interestingly, there were really few kids staying there, I would presume most of the guests were couples on their honeymoons and many guests were from japan...Conrad was occupied mainly by caucasians. Also, there were so many weddings held there (at least one every night!) Sadly though, I didn't manage to buy the variation of the watermelon bag I wanted:( Hmm...perhaps that's an excuse to return...next year...
