June Act (21 June 2008)
Monday, June 23, 2008
June Act 2008 was quite fun:)
GGR & I got a lift from gi to acsi and we ended up being 20 min early so we decided to check out the school compound while looking for someone wearing "a red cap with a number one on it" (a parentlink volunteer's husband)to pass ge rou the aloud tickets to sell to the prefects. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to sell any... well, there's not really a push factor for people from other schools to want to buy them I guess. Despite the fact that there was quite a miniscule number of people who turned up, I must say the organisation wasn't too bad (apparently it was better than stomp last year) and the games were relatively fun negelecting the fact that both gi and I were slobbered in mayonaise-technically it was just our hair, but the smell was really pungent:( I left early as I had to go off for a dinner. Ge rou told me it only got more fun though... And I discovered that Iapparently have an interesting way of eating my noodles...

Back from Bali!
Wednesday, June 11, 2008
I'm back from BALI! (well technically, I was back yesterday)

I must say that it was pretty fun although it was a little rushed:) The Ritz Carlton was quite a beautiful place to stay in...we were greeted by really friendly staff who put garlands of frangipanis around our necks, the breakfast buffet had really delicious belgium waffles which i had every day for breakfast along with lots of maple syrup, invigorating homemade ice creams & sorbets for supper & one of the pools had a long, water slide! (the best i've seen in a hotel, it even beat the one at the HK disneyland hotel! I think I went on it a grand total of...... 50 times?! HEHE:) Interestingly, there were really few kids staying there, I would presume most of the guests were couples on their honeymoons and many guests were from japan...Conrad was occupied mainly by caucasians. Also, there were so many weddings held there (at least one every night!) Sadly though, I didn't manage to buy the variation of the watermelon bag I wanted:( Hmm...perhaps that's an excuse to return...next year...

Bali!
Friday, June 6, 2008
Hooray!

I'll be leaving for BALI tomorrow morning:) Although the location of our residence is still undisclosed... my parents refuse to tell it to us! But i suspect it'll be in a villa and not conrad (again) Hmm...

Here I go:

4 days of homeworklessness, slobbering on sunblock to protect my already sun-damaged skin from the oh-so-harmful-UV-rays & lazing around :)

PURE RELAXATION=> THIS IS THE LIFE!

Wonderful company
Monday, June 2, 2008
Finally... a properly set up blog :-)

Ah...allow me to muse about yesterday!
Anna, bea, tiff, cherry, roxanne, jan, jess and I went to Fish & Co. (wheelock) to celebrate anna's, roxanne's and janice's birthdays:) It was quite amusing how they were made to stand on bar stools and hold a sparkler while the Fish and Co. staff did some sort of birthday rap in their honour:) Then we bounded over to taka for kinokuniya only to discover we were a tad too late... After walking around aimlessly for some time, we realised that it was about 9.45ish and only tiff, roxanne and I were left, so we decided to wait at the taxi stand for our parents.
I guess I would have to say that wrapped our very eventful or should I say scandalous week :-) Next up...our soon to be annual tradition @ tiff's house!
